Mat & Kat's big bike trip
Day 54 Ploce
It's another car day, so we decided to go up into the Biokovo natural park and explore.
It was a beautiful experience, they have a glass skywalk at 1,000m above sea level, and further into the park we saw lots of wild horses and ended up having lunch at a picnic spot 1,300m up, in a quiet little place that also did tea and coffee.
We couldn't have cycled up there, so it feels like we're making good use of the car.
Back down at the coast, it was a 50km drive to our destination, winding along the hillside past cute little swimming spots and small towns.
This feels like a holiday-in-a-holiday, a little mini-break inside our longer trip.
