Kat & Mat's big bike trip
Day 29 Ferrara
After our dash across northern Italy, and especially yesterday's effort, we deserve a rest day in Ferrara. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, so as well as catching up on work we're going to explore the city a little.
Mat spent most of the afternoon in the cemetery here, looking for the grave of a friend's father who is buried here. He eventually found it after a long search with the help of a super helpful cemetery worker called David, thanks David!
In the evening we went out for drinkies and then a delicious pizza for dinner. It feels so Italian here, Ferrara is a very liveable city.
