Kat & Mat's big bike trip

Today we're heading onto the first of a series of islands over the next five days.

This morning we crossed an impressive bridge onto Krk, then stopped in a shady churchyard for lunch. It's a beautiful day. There's a bit of traffic on the island, but it's all pretty laid back, and we took backroads for some of the journey.

We were passed by a convoy of seven vintage Mercedes convertibles from Germany, and then one more on the back of of a tow truck. Felt bad for those last guys.

We got the ferry terminal just as a different ship was loading, the bar was chaos as everyone rushed off to their cars all at once. Over the next four hours we saw loads of ferries coming and going, until ours.
