Monaco

Monaco was intense! We passed through it in a couple of hours, entering Monte Carlo and immediately ending up on the Formula 1 Circuit road. The whole place is permanently dominated by Formula 1 with huge barriers, grandstand seating and no room for pedestrians (and definitely not bicycles). It was also full of very high-end cars. The majority of our experience was trying to find somewhere to eat our packed lunch. We eventually found a park where all the benches were full and we weren't allowed to sit on the grass. Our friend Soren kept getting told off wherever he put or leaned his bicycle.
