Day 31 Treviso
Today marks a month since we left Valencia! To celebrate, we're going on a bike ride lol.
The ride was over before it really felt like it had begun - we did 50km without stopping, and got to our destination by 12:00. I guess we're getting fitter! It was a really pleasant ride through quite a rural environment. Lots of tractors and chickens in the road. We learned a new cultural thing about Italy - people put up ribbons on their houses to announce the birth of a baby - pink for girls and blue for boys, obvs. I've never seen this anywhere else, but we saw three decorated houses in 20km today.
Treviso is a very pretty city, like a small version of Venice. Luckily we managed to get some sightseeing in before the rain arrived. The next couple of days look rainy - we weren't expecting this kind of weather and keep telling ourselves that once we reach Greece in July we'll miss the rain!

We rode 50km pretty much in one go without stopping, so we had plenty of time for sightseeing in Treviso. It's very pretty, like a small version of Venice.
Luckily we managed to get around the city before the rain arrived.
The city is full of little alleys and canals (much too small for boats). There were fish in the water.
